MIE2015 (Madrid, Spain) – Call for Submissions – Extended Deadlines

efmi-smThe European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) and the Spanish Society of Health Informatics (SEIS), Spain invite you to submit your contributions to the 26th Medical Informatics Europe Conference, MIE2015, which will be held from 27 to 29 May 2015 in Madrid, Spain. The theme of MIE2015 is “Digital healthcare empowering Europeans”.

UPDATE: – extended deadlines:
Deadline for Papers and Posters (indexed)  is extended to November 17th, 2014 [now closed]
Deadline for Workshops, Panels, Special events (nonindexed) proposals is December 22nd.

SEIS Journal, Latest Issue (in Spanish)

Revista I+S, No. 104 (April 2014) is available; it is downloadable as a 76 page,  3MB PDF file [download]. Previous issues of the journal are also available via the SEIS Publications webpage.

With the theme/focus “La Estrategia de Tecnologías de la Información y de la Comunicación y su impacto en la mejora del Sistema de Salud” (The Strategy of Information Technology and Communication and its impact in improving health system), the event will be held at the Palacio de Congresos de Madrid.

Inforsalud 2010 – Madrid, 9-11 February

INFORSALUD 2010 – the XIII National Conference on Health Informatics (XIII Congreso Nacional de Informática de la Salud) organised by Sociedad Española de Informática de la Salud (SEIS – Spanish Society of Health Informatics) will take place on 9-11 February, 2010 in Madrid, Spain.

With the theme “Las TIC en la sostenibilidad de los Sistemas para la Salud y el Bienestar” (Sustainability of ICT Systems for Health and Welfare), the event will be held at the Palacio de Congresos de Madrid. It will include a panel presentation by several members of the IMIA Board.

BIOSTEC 2010 conferences – Valencia, Spain

The 3rd International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies – BIOSTEC 2010 – will take place in Valencia, Spain on January 20 – 23, 2010. Full information, including the calls for papers, is on the event website at http://www.biostec.org

The four main topic areas of BIOSTEC, defined as sub-conferences, are:
