The theme for GT2015 is “Serving the Underserved: Integrating technology and information for better healthcare”. COACH: Canada’s Health Informatics Association is delighted to be hosting Global Telehealth 2015, an international scientific conference covering the full breadth of telehealth, mobile health and virtual health. It consists of 50+ scientific and applied paper presentations that have been submitted from more than 25 countries. Nursing Knowledge: 2015 Big Data Science Conference

The 2015 Nursing Knowledge: Big Data & Science Conference for Transforming Health Care conference will be held on June 3 – 5, 2015 in Minneapolis, MN, USA. This third annual national conference is designed to advance an action plan to create sharable, comparable nursing data that is integrated into the electronic health record. All NIA submissions will be given automatic entry to NIA’s Moya Conrick Prize. The Moya Conrick Prize is presented in recognition of the valuable work by the late Dr Moya Conrick via the best submitted paper and presentation at NIA. The prize is based specifically on nursing informatics, including the quality, originality, contributions, subject matter and timeliness of the submission. The Moya Conrick Prize is shared amongst all authors of the submission and shall be announced by a member of the NIA executive.

The School aims to provide introductory and advanced courses in medical statistics and epidemiology, and their application in etiology research and public health. The School is aimed at physicians, clinicians and public health professionals from public and private institutions who are looking for systematic training in the principles of epidemiology and biostatistics, or epidemiology applied to health care planning and evaluation. They will acquire familiarity with epidemiological and biostatistical principles and techniques and with the computational tools needed to solve practical problems.
The course teachers come from Harvard School of Public Health, Karolinska Institutet, Bocconi University and University of Milano-Bicocca. Funding is kindly provided by Bocconi University and Stata®. Limited student tuition scholarships are available for current university students.; all queries should be addressed to the Summer School organisers, not to IMIA.

In view of this, the HELINA and GHIA Council would like to announce that the HELINA 2014 conference will be held in Accra, Ghana at the University of Ghana, ISSER Conference Centre from March 7 – 11, 2015.
