NI2014 (Nursing Informatics) – Advance Registration Closes 15 May

NI2014 – the 12th International Congress on Nursing Informatics – will be held on 21-25 June, 2014 in the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC). NI2014 is organised by the Taiwan Nursing Informatics Association (TNIA) and other associations, on behalf of the IMIA Special Interest Group in Nursing Informatics (IMIA-NI).

The theme of the conference is “eSmart + ” where “e” stands for eHealth, “S” implies simplicity, “m” represents mobility and meaningful use, “a” denotes advanced leadership, “r” indicates revolution, “t” means translational technologies, and “+” symbolizes People Leading uCare Safely. The acronym is also used to convey the idea of adopting smart technology to help health providers deliver higher quality care.

Submissions Open for NI2014 – 12th International Congress on Nursing Informatics

imianiOn behalf of Nick Hardiker and Heimar Marin, Co-Chairs, Scientific Programme Committee for NI2014, we are pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the Twelfth International Congress on Nursing Informatics (NI2014) will be held in Taipei in 2014. Dates 21-25 June; venue Taipei International Convention Center. Information is available via the website at http://www.ni2014.org (currently undergoing some updating).

We ask all IMIA Member Societies and other members, and nursing/informatics organisations to publicise this call and event.

All abstracts must be submitted and be received on or before September 15, 2013 through the on-line Abstract Submission System. For authors who need language support, submit by the pre-submission deadline, August 31, 2013. (this does NOT guarantee acceptance; it is a mechanism to provide support and feedback) All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee of the NI2014, and reviewing results will be notified by emailing the decision of acceptance/ rejection to the presenting authors only by December 15, 2013.

NI2014 – 12th International Congress on Nursing Informatics: Submissions Open 01 June

The Twelfth International Congress on Nursing Informatics (NI2014) will be held in Taipei in 2014. Dates 21-25 June; venue Taipei International Convention Center. The online submissions will open on 01 June, 2013. All abstracts must be submitted and be received on or before September 15, 2013 through the on-line Abstract Submission System.

The aim of the congress is to provide a single, high-profile, internationally renowned forum for research in the theory and practice of nursing informatics. Over the years, the congress has been instrumental in the advancement of nursing informatics which has made a great stride toward the provision of an International discussion forum as evidenced by the number of successful meetings held so far. NI2009 in Finland and NI2012 in Canada successfully attracted over 600 participants. NI2014 in Taipei will also present the most up-to-date scientific evidence through our comprehensive scientific program which will cover a wide range of topics to be presented in the invited speakers’ lectures, educational sessions, as well as the abstract-based program.

Francophone SIG pre-symposium at Medinfo2013 (Session francophone d’informatique médicale)

The IMIA Francophone SIG is organising a French-speaking scientific track as a pre-symposium associated with the Medinfo2013 conference (www.medinfo2013.dk) on August 20th, 2013.

Further details of the Call for Submissions can be found below in French – and on the SIG website at http://francophonesig.imia.info/. The deadline for submission is April 5, 2013. The call spans the MEDINFO topics, with special emphasis on issues specific to Francophone countries or which involve the processing of French language.

Submission format uses the same stylesheet as MEDINFO.  Both long (5 pages) and short (2 pages, work in progress) papers are solicited. The paper submission URL is: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=frsigimia2013

== LE SIG FRANCOPHONE DE L’IMIA ==

Le tout nouveau SIG francophone de l’IMIA, groupe d’intérêt créé lors de l’Assemblée générale de septembre 2012 de l’Association internationale d’informatique médicale, organise une session scientifique en marge de la conférence MEDINFO.  Cette session d’une journée a pour but de permettre à la communauté francophone de l’informatique médicale de se réunir et de faire le point sur les travaux en cours. Les présentations et les articles seront en français, avec un titre et un résumé en français et en anglais.  Les articles retenus feront l’objet d’actes électroniques qui ne seront pas inclus dans ceux de MEDINFO ni indexés dans MEDLINE. La participation à la session se fera, sans surcoût, à travers l’inscription à la conférence MEDINFO.
