University of Toronto, Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Seeks Assistant / Associate Professor in Health Informatics

The Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto, invites applications in the area of Health Informatics at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The University seeks candidates who have earned a Ph.D. degree in a related field by July 1, 2014 or soon thereafter, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching and a commitment to shaping the future of Health Informatics in Ontario and around the world. The successful applicant must have an excellent publication record, evidence of the potential for a sustained and externally funded research program, and a proven commitment to graduate student supervision and training and teaching at the graduate level. The candidate will also be able to show a commitment to realizing the impact of health informatics and e-health within the health system through innovation or knowledge transfer.

The University of Toronto offers excellent opportunities to teach, conduct research, and live in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The Faculty of Medicine provides a context in which to work in an interdisciplinary environment with close ties to a range of collaborative programs. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
