Dutch Society for Health Care Informatics Conference, November 2013

mic30Our colleague Ronald Cornet writes: The Dutch Society for Health Care Informatics (VMBI) is organising its 30th annual Medical Informatics Conference (MIC). It will be held on November 21st and 22nd, at NH Koningshof Hotel, Veldhoven (near Eindhoven) in The Netherlands. The theme of this year’s conference is “Better care with less”.

MIC is an annual conference, organized alternately in The Netherlands and Belgium. It generally brings together an audience of around 700 people for keynotes, presentations, discussion sessions, and a dinner plus social event. This year is not just the 30th anniversary of MIC, as IHE Netherlands will have its 10th annual conference during MIC2013.

MIC2013 is organized by VMBI, in cooperation with their Belgian fellow organization MIM, IHE Netherlands, the Federation of Patients and Consumer Organizations in the Netherlands (NPCF), Dutch Association for Medical Records Administration (NVMA), Association for Informatics and Healthcare (VI&G), and Nurse and Care Informatics (VZI).
