Many people have worked hard over the past 3-4 years, since DSMI won the bid to host Medinfo2013. Particular thanks must go to:
- Lene Vistisen, Knut Bernstein, Pia Elberg, Niels Reichstein Larsen, Allan Kofoed Enevoldsen, Stig Kjær Andersen, Marianne Sørensen, Dorthe Skou Lassen in the Local Organising Committee, and all other Danish and regional colleagues who have assisted;
- Dominik Aronsky and Tze‐Yun Leong as co-chairs of the Scientific Programme Committee, as well as all other SPC members, especially the track chairs James Cimino, Andre Kushniruk, Fernando Martin‐Sanchez, Niels Peek and Student Poster Competition Chair Ameen Abu‐Hanna; and not forgetting all who reviewed the submissions;
- Christoph U. Lehmann as editorial committee chair for producing the proceedings, together with committee members Christian Nøhr and Elske Ammenwerth, all those who helped in profreading and correcting the proceedings, and IOS Press for production;
- and last, but not least, IMIA VP Medinfo Riccardo Bellazzi.
An important innovation at this Medinfo is that the proceedings have been made open access (and are Medline-indexed) – they are available for free download at the IOS Press website (http://ebooks.iospress.nl – and direct here). We welcome your feedback on this.
