NextMed/MMVR21 Conference: Call for Presentations Open Until 01 August

The NextMed / MMVR21 (Medicine Meets Virtual Reality) conference Call for Presentations is now open. Participation options include lectures, posters, panels, workshops, focus sessions, and tutorials. Exhibits are also invited. The submission deadline is August 1.

“Medicine Meets Virtual Reality” was conceived in 1991 to explore the healthcare utilization of rapidly evolving computing and communications technologies. Two decades later, the curriculum has expanded beyond virtual reality to encompass a broader range of healthcare topics. The rebranded “NextMed” continues to unite experienced researchers with tomorrow’s leaders while they share current breakthroughs and strategize new directions. Their multidisciplinary expertise generates a unique perspective on what’s now and what’s next in medicine.

The Organizing Committee welcomes innovative research in areas including (but not limited to): Medical simulation and modelling; Data visualization and fusion; Imaging devices and methods; Wearable and implantable electronics; Human-computer interfaces; Virtual and augmented reality; Simulator design and validation; Patient and public health monitoring and education.
