Submissions Open for NI2014 – 12th International Congress on Nursing Informatics

imianiOn behalf of Nick Hardiker and Heimar Marin, Co-Chairs, Scientific Programme Committee for NI2014, we are pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the Twelfth International Congress on Nursing Informatics (NI2014) will be held in Taipei in 2014. Dates 21-25 June; venue Taipei International Convention Center. Information is available via the website at (currently undergoing some updating).

We ask all IMIA Member Societies and other members, and nursing/informatics organisations to publicise this call and event.

All abstracts must be submitted and be received on or before September 15, 2013 through the on-line Abstract Submission System. For authors who need language support, submit by the pre-submission deadline, August 31, 2013. (this does NOT guarantee acceptance; it is a mechanism to provide support and feedback) All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee of the NI2014, and reviewing results will be notified by emailing the decision of acceptance/ rejection to the presenting authors only by December 15, 2013.

The theme of the conference is “eSmart + ” where “e” stands for eHealth, “S” implies simplicity, “m” represents mobility and meaningful use, “a” denotes advanced leadership, “r” indicates revolution, “t” means translational technologies, and “+” symbolizes People Leading uCare Safely. The acronym is also used to convey the idea of adopting smart technology to help health providers deliver higher quality care.
