Invitation to participate in a Delphi study to define “eHealth”
Christian Nøhr and Chris Showell write:
Following a presentation at MIE2012 in August (Showell, C., & Nøhr, C. (2012). How Should We Define eHealth, and Does the Definition Matter? Studies in health technology and informatics, 180, 881–884.), we are setting up a Delphi study to discover whether there is a good consensus definition of “eHealth”. We would like to involve as many people as possible, from academia (researchers, teachers and students) the healthcare industry (practitioners, support staff and administrators), health IT (vendors, developers, implementers) as well as patients and citizens.
If you are interested in participating, you can view details of the project at define-ehealth.com, and register if you would like to be a part of the study. The organisers of the study would also like the invitation and the link to be passed on to anyone else you think might be interested.
Christian Nøhr is a Professor (with special responsibilities) in the Department of Development and Planning at Aalborg University, Denmark. Chris Showell is an eHealth researcher and PhD student with the eHealth Services Research Group in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Tasmania, Australia.
