Call for Proposals: AMIA Joint Summits on Translational Science
The AMIA Joint Summits on Translational Science will be held on March 18-22, 2013, in San Francisco, CA, USA. See http://www.amia.org/jointsummits2013 for full information
The Call for Proposals is open, and the Scientific Program Committee (SPC) solicits papers on the state-of-the-art in translational bioinformatics and clinical research informatics. All proposals must be submitted through the AMIA submission sites in accordance with the following deadlines:
• Paper Proposals Due: September 27, 2012
• Panels, Posters, and Podium Abstract Proposal Due: October 11, 2012
You are advised to please review the Types of Proposals guidelines prior to submission (http://www.amia.org/jointsummits2013/proposals-types). Translational Bioinformatics focuses on applications of bioinformatics innovations in the context of human health and disease, and touches nearly all areas of biological, biomedical, and clinical research. The CRI Summit will immediately follow the Summit on Translational Bioinformatics (TBI) which will afford participants the unique opportunity to see the latest developments in clinical research informatics from academia, industry and government. The TBI and CRI Summits serve as the primary forum for exchange of ideas, issues, and science in clinical and translational research informatics.
