UKCHIP Newsletter, April 2012

The UK (United Kingdom) Council for Health Informatics Professions is the voluntary registration body for health informatics professionals, established to promote professionalism in health informatics and the certification of those who work in the profession. UKCHIP publishes a public register of health informatics professionals who meet clearly defined standards of competence and agree to work to a professional code of conduct. Registration and certification is open to anyone currently working in health informatics, whether for the National Health Service (NHS), for the private health care sector, for commercial suppliers to the health care sector or for the voluntary sector.
