EFMI STC2012 – Submission Deadline Extended to 17 January

The deadline for submission of papers and posters for the next Special Topic Conference of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI STC2012)has been extended to 17 January, 2012. Information is available at the conference website, with a downloadable PDF file of full details.

The EFMI STC2012 will be held  on April 18-21, 2012 in Moscow, Russia (see http://www.stc2012.eu/). The theme of the STC 2012 is the implementation experience of large scale eHealth projects. These large scale projects can be described by size, effects, complexity, duration etc. eHealth projects contribute to the success and sustainability of the future health care system. Large scale projects are mostly accompanied by small and dedicated initiatives and solutions. The objective of the conference is to highlight large scale projects supporting the use of information and communication technology (eHealth) at national, regional, and especially at international level. It will result in requirements for national and regional solutions for medical informatics and health information management.
