OJNI and Social Media

OJNI – Online Journal of Nursing Informatics – has added a Twitter stream and Facebook page. These can be found respectively at http://www.twitter.com/OJNIJnl and http://www.facebook.com/pages/Online-Journal-of-Nursing-Informatics/200131420012682

The Facebook page has links to some interesting materials from leading nurse informaticians, including a podcast by Dr Virginia Saba (http://ojni.org/saba.html) and a YouTube video from Joyce Sensmeier (Can We Transform Nursing Practice through Informatics and Technology? from HIMSS – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8_5G_BPB1s)

The Online Journal of Nursing Informatics (OJNI – www.ojni.org) was initiated in 1996, and is a free, international, professional, refereed publication that focuses on nursing informatics in all practice settings. OJNI is committed to addressing the theoretical and practical aspects of nursing informatics as it relates to the art of nursing. CINAHL indexes the journal. OJNI is published every 4 months, at the end of February, June, and October.
