ANIA-CARING Nursing Informatics 2011 Conference

The ANIA-CARING nursing informatics annual conference will be held on 13-14 May, 2011 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas NV, USA, with pre-conference sessions on 12 May. The theme will be “Nursing Informatics: Blazing the HIT Trail”.

Keynote speakers will include Liz Johnson, Vice President, Applied Clinical Informatics, Tenant Healthcare Corporation; Pam Cipriano, Editor in Chief of American Nurse Today – Journal of the American Nurses Association; and Barbara Wadsworth, Senior Vice President for Patient Services and CNO, Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, Pa. The event will feature 6 Preconference Sessions, 28 Concurrent Sessions and over 35 Poster Presentations.

ANIA-CARING, formed after the merger of ANIA and CARING, is one of the largest nursing informatics groups, and currently has over 2000 members in 32 countries and all 50 US states.

The 2012 ANIA-CARING conference is scheduled to be held in Orlando, Florida on 12-14 April, 2012; the 2013 event is scheduled for San Antonio, Texas on 2-4 May, 2013.
