CINFOMED – 1st Conference On Medical Informatics, DR Congo

Eustache Muteba Ayumba, IMIA Corresponding Member in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), has announced the CINFOMED conference. This will be held on 20 December, 2010 at the Hotel Memling, Kinshasa, DR Congo, and will be the First Conference on Medical Informatics, DR Congo.

The conference theme is “State of the Art and Future Perspective of Medical Informatics in DR Congo”. The aim of the conference is to review the state of the art of medical informatics in the DR Congo and to outline future trends. Among sub-themes are Teaching of Medical Informatics, Computerization of Hospitals and Pharmacies, Informatisation of Medical Record and Data Protection, Telemedicine, eHealth and Health Informatics Network and several other areas.

Deadline for submission of papers is 30 November, 2010.
