Medinfo2010 – January newsletter

The January 2010 newsletter from the Medinfo2010 Local Organising Committee (LOC) is now available.

Among news items to note:

– IBM have been confirmed as a Gold level sponsor. They should also have Medinfo2010 materials on their booth at the HIMSS10 conference (as will the IMIA booth);

– Dr Najeeb Al-Shorbaji, Director, Department of Knowledge Management and Sharing at the World Health Organization Headquarters (WHO/HQ) has been confirmed as a keynote speaker. Dr Al-Shorbaji’s portfolio covers WHO publishing activities and programmes, library and knowledge networks, eHealth and WHO Collaborating Centres;

– Winners of the registration incentives prizes have been announced. Congratulations to Dr Nicola Shaw, who won the refund of registration prize, and to other winners, Dr Terry Hannan, Mr Christopher Bailey and Dr Catrin Bjorvell.

Remember: early bird registration closes on 28 February.
