AMIA launches new JAMIA

AMIA, the American Medical Informatics Association ( has relaunched JAMIA, its bimonthly peer-reviewed journal with its new publisher, the BMJ (British Medical Journal) Group, a move that was announced earlier in the year.

The revamped JAMIA website, with the new Jan-Feb. 2010 issue, is now available online – at

Until the end of the year, AMIA has announced in its e-News bulletin to members, JAMIA is available online free of charge. From now until early January, no log-in or password is necessary to access online content. This allows anyone who might be interested to sample JAMIA free of charge before subscribing or joining AMIA as a member.
