The eHealth2010 (http://www.ehealth2010.at) conference will take place at the Schönbrunn Palace Conference Centre in Vienna, Austria from 6 – 7 May, 2010. The conference theme/title is “Health Informatics meets eHealth – From Science to Application and back; Patient Centered Systems – Focus on the Person”. The eHealth2010 event is the fourth eHealth conference organized by AK-MI, the Austrian Working Group for Health Informatics. It brings together researchers, practitioners and policy makers.
The Call for Papers (http://www.ehealth2010.at/call4papers.html) is currently open, closing on 15 January 2010. IMIA is an official partner/sponsor to the event, which is being organised, amongst others, by the Arbeitskreis Medizinische Informatik & eHealth (AK-MI – http://iig.umit.at/akmi/akmi.htm), the Austrian member society of IMIA.
The conference’s motto and program target the building of bridges from research to application of information and communication technology in health care. Submitted and invited scientific presentations and posters, as well as workshops and an interoperability showcase, will contribute. While the main language of the conference is German, papers and presentations can also be made in English.
